SNTP server for computer time synchronisation
A SNTP server stands for Simple Network Time Protocol. SNTP uses the same protocol as NTP but lacks some of the sophisticated algorithms for filtering reference clocks and maintaining an accurate time.
All Galleon Systems NTP server devices also operate as an SNTP server. Since the protocols are identical, any SNTP client can synchronise to an NTP server. Also, a NTP client can synchronize to an SNTP server. For computer network timing NTP servers offer a more stable time base.
Galleon Systems also has a range of serial and USB timing device with SNTP server software for computer and computer network time synchronisation.
Galleon Systems has an extensive range of computer and network timing solutions.
