Simple Network Time Protocol (SNTP) for Unix is a time maintenance application that allows you to synchronize networked hardware that uses A Unix based opearting system. You can use a Galleon Time server as an SNTP Unix server, SNTP client, or both. You can specify an amount of time that clients can vary from the time provided by a time server and allow for adjustment to keep the clocks synchronized. This function is particularly important in the use of Network authentication service.
