Galleon Systems can provide a range of Windows 2000\2003 Time Server systems to ensure accurate time on any Windows 2000\2003 system. A Windows 2000\2003 Time Server system may consist of either a dedicated time server that site directly on the network and serves time to any time client. Alternatively, lower-cost solutions can be provided that plug into a serial port on any Windows 2000\2003 server and synchronise time via software drivers installed on the host PC.
MSF, WWVB, DCF or GPS time references can be used to provide an accurate source of time for the Windows 2000\2003 time server system. MSF is widely used in the UK, DCF is transmitted from Germany and is widely used in Central Europe. GPS utilises the Global positioning system and is therefor available world-wide.
