Time servers for computer synchronisation
Galleon Systems provides a number of Time Servers for computer and network time synchronisation. We have solutions based on either MSF, WWVB, DCF or GPS time sources.
The MSF, WWVB and DCF radio time servers receive the time code transmissions from either Rugby, UK (MSF), Colorado, US (WWVB) or Frankfurt, Germany (DCF). The time code is decoded by software drivers and the system time of the host computer can be synchronised to with a few milliseconds of the correct time.
A GPS clock time server has the advantage of being more accurate and can be used worlwide. The GPS antenna however does require a good view of the sky.
