Time server systems for computer synchronisation
Galleon Systems time server systems all utilise GMT time to synchronise host or network time clients. By utilising GMT as a base time, any client can add an offset for a specific timezone or daylight saving time. Most time server systems are based on GMT since this allows the time server to be located anywhere in the world with clients spread over multiple timezones.
